The rear view of the 1.3 kg meteorite that recently crashed through the roof of a home in Auckland, New Zealand (click for larger image). The small chip was caused by the impact with the roof and secondary fusion crust is evident on the rear surface of the meteorite. The oriented front surface is facing downwards.
