During Christmas 2003/04 I acquired a NAD 5120 turntable hence the need for a phono stage.  This project is based on the octal cornet phono stage found at Hagerman Technology and uses 6SL7 and 6SN7 type tubes.  My first attempt is shown below but unfortunately I need to go back to the drawing board because there are ground loop problems on my PCB which causes an audible 50Hz hum in the speakers.  Also, the 6SL7 does not have quite the desired amount of gain and will probably have to be replaced with an ECC83 (12AX7) in my second, yet to be devloped, version.
