Dating back to childhood, Harry has long been interested in drawing. A Masters graduate in Geology from the University of Auckland, he worked for two years in the gold-fields of Western Australia. There he became infamous amongst his colleagues for cartoons that parodied the harsh desert conditions where they worked and lived for weeks on end. Upon his departure in 1995, Harry produced a free book - a loosely bound stack of photocopied cartoons that he had compiled during his two-year stay his fellow workers lined up in large numbers for a copy. Returning to Auckland and work
as an engineering geologist, he has continued to find
plenty of cartoon material. Quickly identifying his wit
and drawing ability, Pro-Drill - a drilling company with
whom Harry has worked in association - was quick to sign
him up to produce two corporate calendars. |

| Like his brother,
Howard has also held an interest in drawing since an
early age. During five years of study at the University
of Auckland (where he completed a Masters degree in
Political Studies), he was active with the student
newspaper on campus, Craccum, serving as their
political cartoonist. Since
university, Howard has branched out from purely political
cartooning to do contract artwork for local businesses
including The Warehouse, Mercury Energy, Fletcher
Challenge, Kirk Motors Mitsubishi, Moana Pacific and the
ANZDL Shipping Line. |
