The
Great Outdoors
Dyke Hikes
On the first Sunday of
every month we head for the hills.
Or the plains. Or the sea. Lately we've been walking at
Whatipu and in the Kaueranga Valley. Most
days involve
between 2 and 4 hours walking and the difficulty of the
hikes vary.
There is a mix of gentle and more difficult hikes
throughout the year.
Bring plenty to eat and drink and wear comfortable,
sturdy clothing
and of course sensible shoes (!!??).

more information and a list of the year's hikes
