As the range of computer CDs which we now have available for students and teachers of the Maori Language is fairly extensive (see below), people sometimes ask us which particular course would be best for their purposes. In particular, we are frequently approached by adult students who learned some Maori Language at school many years ago and who are now wishing to strengthen their knowledge of Te Reo.

For adults - and students of any age - who wish to approach the Maori Language in a structured and methodical manner so as to make Te Reo a vibrant part of their daily lives, we would suggest "THE AUDIO-VISUAL GRAMMAR LADDER TO THE MAORI LANGUAGE OF TODAY!", with its modern, multi-method, holistic approach to language learning. For those adult students who have less time to spare, the disc we would recommend is "TALK MAORI TODAY!", with its strong emphasis on pronunciation and auditory recognition. Adult students who never did any Maori Language at school, or who remember very little of what they learned, would probably also find it advisable to include "The Sunlit Horizon Approach to the Maori Language" among their study resources; and they may be interested to note that both "The Sunlit Horizon Approach to the Maori Language" and "The Audio-Visual Grammar Ladder to the Maori Language of Today" are now available collated together on one CD - "The Maori Language Tuition Mega Disc" -, which costs less than buying those two CDs separately.

Students who have mastered "THE AUDIO-VISUAL GRAMMAR LADDER" or "TALK MAORI TODAY!" are ready to progress to "THINK MAORI!"; and students who have mastered "THINK MAORI" are well prepared to move on to "TALK MORE MAORI TODAY!"
