The above are the words with which this disc was originally announced when it was first released onto the market in the mid 1990's. Originally designed for speakers of Spanish wishing to improve their English, the computer CD ¡TRADUZCA! generates Spanish sentences at ten different levels of progress (from a range of over Five Million possible sentences on the disc) for computer-monitored translation into English, and is equally useful for speakers of English who are looking for plenty of Spanish-to-English translation practice exercises.

Whenever the student's translation of a Spanish sentence into English differs from that of the computer, the programmed translation appears on screen for the student to make comparisons. Every time the student succeeds in keying in an English sentence identical with the model translation generated by the CD from the equivalent Spanish sentence, the student's computer plays a few notes of music in acknowledgment.

Most students (young and old!) learn fast this way; and ... is there any student or teacher - either of Spanish, or of English for Spanish-speakers - who could not make good use of this CD?
