CallBack Questions and Answers

Q. How long does it take to get on the system once I sign up?
A.
No more than three business days, unless the application for service is incomplete or illegible. Additional delays are caused when OWC can not get through to the customer’s phone number or fax listed on their form.

Q. How do I get billed?
A
. Most CallBack is paid for by pre-authorizing the expected monthly usage with a credit card to verify that it is valid. Other payment options include: Electronic Fund Transfer, Check, travelers Check, Bank Transfers, and Cash.

Q. What billing increments are used for CallBack?
A.
You are billed for an initial start time of 30 seconds and then in 6 second increments.

Q. Am I charged for incomplete calls or busy signals?
A.
You have 30 seconds before you are charged after you receive your CallBack. As long as you hang up within 30 seconds, about 5 rings, you are not billed.

Q. Can CallBack be used for faxing?
A.
Yes

Q. Can I use my CallBack with a "pulse or rotary" phone?
A.
In order to use CallBack, a user must have their phone on "tone," as opposed to "pulse." When in countries which are still on "pulse systems" rather than "tone systems, you need to purchase a "tone generator" (available at most electronics stores). This generates tones, which allow the CallBack switch to operate.

Q. Can a customer using CallBack, make more than one telephone call during a CallBack session without hanging up?
A.
Yes. At the end of your first call press the pound (#) key 3 times. (This varies between systems please refer to specific instructions when signing up) This signals the computer that your call has ended. You will then receive a dial tone and you can make another call. If you make a mistake while dialing, simply press the star (*) or the (#) key to return to the previous menu.

Q. How long is the CallBack rates applicable?
A.
Our CallBack rates are subject to change every few months. OWC has a mission to constantly lower their rates and maintain their lead as the lowest cost international call provider. In 3 years we have never raised our rates and we have lowered them hundreds of times.

Q. If I sign up for CallBack, must I eliminate my regular telephone service on that line?
A.
Not at all. The entire concept of ONE WORLD is choice. We have structured our service as an add-on service. This lets you choose when to use OWC and when to use your local phone company.

Q. What is the minimum monthly billing charge for OWC’s CallBack?
A.
OWC has no minimum monthly charge.

Q. What is the "start-up" cost for a CallBack account?
A.
There is a $29.00 annual fee due upon activation of service. You can have as many CallBack lines in one location as you want, with only one $29.00 charge.

Q. How do I sign-up?
A.
Fill out the CallBack Credit Card or Non-Credit Card application, and either mail or fax it to your sponsor or the main office.

Commissions

Q. How and when do OWC ITCs get paid?
A.
All ITCs receive their commission checks from ONE WORLD COMMUNICATIONS, INC. Checks are mailed out 45 days after the billed month to the address specified by the ITC on their application.

Q. In what currency are the commissions paid?
A.
Currently U.S. Dollars.

Q. Is the Commission software fully tested?
A.
Yes. Our proprietary software has been refined over a number of years and now it has emerged as among the most accurate and sophisticated programs of its kind in the world.

Q. If a company expands the use of any products and services with One World Communications Inc., will the ITC receive commission on all future business transactions?
A.
Yes.

Q. Do I earn commission on my own phone?
A
. No. Your upline earns commissions on your phone use. It is One World’s policy to compensate the ITC who introduced our services to the client. Your sponsor, by definition, brought you into the company, so they are paid for the calls you make. Besides, if some of your clients became ITCs, would you appreciate losing their volume? Would you rather earn 8% of your phone bill, or 8% of all the people you sign up?

Q. What is the competition like, i.e., other CallBack companies?
A.
You will find that OWC is usually the lowest cost CallBack company. You may find companies with a rate lower to one or two neighboring countries but, overall, One World Communications’ rates are the lowest. Another thing to be aware of: some companies use lower quality and lower cost satellite transmission, which produces echoes, delays, static, and unacceptable data transmission. They also may compress their signals to a level, which saves on transmission cost, but is at an unacceptable level of quality. Because of OWC’s volume, their rates will continue to be among the lowest in the industry, and our quality will remain top of the line. In addition, we pay the highest commissions in the history of telecommunications. That is what sets us apart from the competition.
