1.Dial your personal D.I.D / Access number (When you are calling from Norway dial 00 1 first.) and hang up after the first ring. (You are not charged for this.)
2.After a few seconds you will get the call back. A voice will tell you "Please enter your destination number now" Then you get the tone from the American lines.
3.Dial your destination number (Remember you are calling from USA.)
1.Dial your D.I.D / Access number, let it ring 5 - 6 times until you get the tone.
2.Dial your 10 number authorization code.
3.Listen to the voice, and dial your new CallBack - number.
4.For connection with hotel room number, line under switchboard, etc.: After you have dialed your new CallBack number press #4# when calling from USA. Press ##4# when calling from a country outside USA. After that dial your room number etc. and complete with #
5.After you programmed the new CallBack number a voice will repeat it. If it is correct then you hang up. If not then dial your new CallBack once more. your CallBack service will find this number until you move it again.
6.Then when you are using the CallBack service from a hotel or extension line to an office, a voice will ask for your room number or an extension line.
You can program speed dialing and store up to 50 numbers, which may be increased to 9999 if necessary. To do this use the procedure below.
1.Call your DID number 001 - (215, 813, or 904) XXX XXX X and let it ring 5 times.
2.Dial your authorization code - XXX XXX XXXX #2# (Without time laps between)
3.Choose your speed-dial: 01 to 50 and then #
4.Dial your destination number: 011 - XX XX XX XX XX and then #
5.Now you have programmed one speed dial number.
1.Dial 001 - (215, 813 or 904) XXX XXX X Let it ring once and hang up.
2.When you get the CallBack you dial your speed-dial number X#
To Use CallBack
1. Dial 1 - your DID/Access code and hang up after one ring 1+
<Please remember that this is a call to the U.S. If you are outside the U.S., please dial the International Prefix first.> the system will call you back within 5 seconds
2 You Will hear a voice prompt "Please enter your pin number now." Enter
You can change your pin number at any time as described below
3. Dial your destination number.
For destination within the US/Canada/Caribbean: Dial 1 + <area rode> + number
For destinations anywhere else in the world: Dial 011+ <country code> + <city code> + number
1. Dial 1 (213) 787-8011. (Please remember that this is a call to the US If you are outside the US please dial the International Prefix first)
2. Enter your account number <this is last 7 digits of your DID>. then dial your 4 digit pin number
3 Listen for the voice prompt. or press 1, and enter your new Callback number
4 The system will read back your number If it is correct then press 1 If the number is incorrect press any other key to cancel.
After you call your DID number, when the computer calls you back, you have a number of options besides placing a call. Just press the # key to hear your options.
Please note: you can use this option only if you have not changed your location yet, but know what the new CallBack Number will be.
This is the default Callback When the Computer call you back, it will request your pin, then will ask for your destination number
When the computer calls you back, the computer will request, "Please transfer me to Room [xx] (whatever room you entered into the computer)." This option is for locations that have a human operator at a switchboard When you answer the Callback, press the # key and then enter your pin.
When the computer calls you back, it will issue a series of beeps to tell an automated system which room or extension to be connected to. When it is connected to your location, the line will be silent. Enter your pin or press the # key to hear instructions to place a call or access other menu options.
This option allows you to record a short message. After recording the greeting. wait 5 seconds to hear the recorded message. If the recording does not sound right, you can re-record the message. When the computer calls you back. it will say, "I have an important message for [...] <the message you recorded>. This option is useful for people who do not have a specific room or extension number, but need to be paged to take phone calls. When you answer the CallBack, press the # key and then enter your Pin number.

please wait at least 10 seconds after you have made any changes before you use your DID number. This is how long it takes the computer to update.
- Make sure you are using a TONE phone <not PULSE/ROTARY>. If your area does not allow tone calling then you must have a phone with a switch that can change the signal from Pulse to Tone. Call your DID using the Pulse setting, but when you receive the CallBack from System 213, flip the switch to Tone, then place your call or press the # key for menu options. If you have to change your CallBack location by dialing 1 <213> 787-8011, then place the call using Pulse, but switch the phone to Tone once the computer answers the call.
- When you are at a hotel, change your Callback number and then press the Menu Options and choose Option 3-Change callback type. This will allow you several options for your call to be routed to your current location as described above.
- If you are going on vacation and you know the telephone number and the room number of the hotel you will be staying at, you should adjust your callback type and enter your new destination number and room number ahead of time to avoid paying any hotel surcharges.
- To place another call, DO NOT HANG UP. Press the # key and then dial in your next destination number.
- To insure that the phone hangs up immediately when all of your calls are done, press * # and then hang up
- For computers, dialers and other electronic communications devices, you can request a DID with no pin number. When the computer calls you back, it will give a dial tone. With this option, you can not change your callback location or access other menu functions. You must contact your local representative or contact OWC to make any necessary modifications to your service.
