The palette looks a bit messy, but it is worth keeping all the mixes handy, as they will be used on the main rock formation.
Odd debris and small rocks are added to the rear of foreground.
Here, the edge of the surf is painted using Cobalt Blue.
The sea is painted leaving some white to represent the surf.

Burnt Umber is added to the base of small rocks and debris on beach.
