Situated in the main street of Methven in the South Island, the Blue Pub is an ideal place to stay for those enjoying the skiing at the Mt Hutt and Porter Heights Skifields.

Accommodation is of the old world New Zealand hotel style, with a communal lounge and shared facilities including a kitchen in which guests can make their own tea, coffee or a light snack. Meals are available in the bar or dining room which specialises in homestyle kiwi meals.

Single, double and triple rooms are available for a very reasonable $25 per person per night, with weekly rates available on request. A hearty country style cooked breakfast can be purchased for a mere $10.

The facilities are shared and include a kitchen, dining room, guest lounge and Sky television. There are three bars attached to the pub: a public bar, a lounge bar and a band bar. Bistro-style bar meals are also available.
